Established in 2002, World Wide Marine Training is a verified government vendor registered with the Federal government’s System for Award Management (SAM). We are a small business with a home office located in Oriental, NC and provide US Coast Guard approved training and testing for personnel in all branches of the military, to professional mariners and the general public. We conduct training at our home location and numerous locations throughout the United States. We will teach anytime and anywhere we are needed with USCG site approval.
All of our instructors are professional mariners with backgrounds in the maritime industry averaging 20 years each. Our instructors include retired military, Merchant Marine officers & small boat operators. All are extremely qualified. We pride ourselves in teaching the material and not teaching the test so our students leave with the knowledge they need to pursue their ambitions. Our training courses emphasize safety and adherence to and understanding of the USCG Rules of the Road for mariner training.
We provide training at locations in North & South Carolina, as well as several locations in the Great Lakes and Midwest region.
World Wide Marine Training is involved in the local community and regularly supports the following:
- Special Olympics – monetary donation
- Rotary Club of Oriental – use of our rescue boat for boat show, monetary donation.
- CCA – Coastal Conservation Association – Donation of a Captains Course for raffle.
Oriental Cup Regatta – Boosters club scholarship for student in the county – Donation of a Captains Course for raffle.
