ASSISTANCE TOWING ENDORSEMENT – $225
General Description – This 4-hr. course allows the OUPV and licensed Master up to 200-tons to acquire a “TOWING Endorsement” that permits them to engage in Assistance Towing services for hire. We give the test at the end of the course. This will satisfy the examination requirements of 46 CFR 11.482(b).
Assistance Towing is “towing for hire,” such as the activities of a Tow Boat/US or Sea Tow operator, un-grounding or towing a disabled vessel to its home port. This endorsement is not a “Towing” license for the operation of a tugboat.
We offer this course one evening of the 56-hr. OUPV Course.
